Company Background
Mackenzie Jones is a full-service law firm whose story began in 2000, and today operates with offices in Chester, St Asaph and Menai Bridge, serving clients across Cheshire and the North Wales region. The firm has built its business based on trust and results, with the majority of their work coming from returning clients and recommendations. As experts in everything from personal injury claims and family law to real estate and commercial law, Mackenzie Jones is accredited by The Law Society and has been awarded their LEXCEL Quality Mark, demonstrating that they have achieved best practice management standards. Their goal is to deliver an excellent quality service that combines experience, dedication, technology and innovative legal thinking that only has their clients' interests at heart.
Growth and Expansion
The Mackenzie Jones story starts back in 2000 when they opened their first office in St Asaph, North Wales. Starting with just 5 staff, the business has experienced remarkable growth over more than two decades, expanding to more than 30 people across three strategic locations - St Asaph, Menai Bridge and more recently in Chester city centre. This expansion has enabled them to extend their reach across both North Wales and Cheshire, building a diverse client base while maintaining their commitment to delivering personalised legal services and fostering long-term client relationships.
IT Partnership and Evolution
We have been supporting Mackenzie Jones since 2000 and have grown alongside them, advising and supporting their IT journey as they scaled from a single-office practice to a multi-location firm. Recognising the challenges of managing case files and client data across multiple offices, we initially transitioned them into a Remote Desktop Server environment, allowing all staff, irrespective of location, to access their case management software seamlessly. As their business evolved and technology advanced, we helped them migrate away from this solution when their case management system became cloud-based, ensuring they could continue to deliver efficient, technology-driven legal services while maintaining the flexibility and accessibility their growing practice required.
Client Perspective
We recently met with Andrew Foley Jones, a Director at Mackenzie Jones, who specialises in commercial matters and assists a wide range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, limited companies, and PLCs. With over 25 years' experience as a solicitor, Andrew has developed niche areas of expertise including the sale and acquisition of businesses in the healthcare sector, the hospitality trade, as well as land acquisition for development purposes and all types of residential and commercial property transactions. As a lifelong Wrexham fan, and club solicitor, Andrew played a key role in assisting the club during its high-profile takeover by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. This unique experience, which captured international media attention, is chronicled in his part-fact, part-fiction book about the takeover, "It's Always Sunny In Wrexham".
Having witnessed Pro-Networks grow alongside Mackenzie Jones over more than two decades, Andrew comments that we have enabled them to progress as a business while maintaining operational efficiencies. "Pro-Networks has enabled us to progress as a firm," Andrew notes. "They've always been incredibly proactive." He adds, "I would recommend Pro-Networks because I know they will enhance the business of people I recommend to, and I know that if I am putting my name to something, that you will deliver."
